Abstract

Different phenomena that provide usefull insight into the concept of localized superconducting pairs (behavior of grained superconductors, even effect, Berezinski–Kosterlitz–Thouless phase transition) are considered. The experimental evidence for the existence of localized pairs is presented and the conditions favouring their appearance are analysed.
