Electrical conductivity of superconducting point contacts containing magnetic impurities

Abstract

The nonlinear electrical conductivity of a superconductor-contraction-normal metal contacts containing magnetic impurities is studied. The influence of transparency of a potential barrier which arises at the boundary of the contact metals on the dependence of conductivity and the magnitude of excess current is analyzed. It is shown that in the limit of low transparency the differential conductivity of such contact is proportional to the density of electronic states.
