Fluctuations and inhomogeneities in strong correlated electron systems

Abstract

The general approach to description of different phenomena in strongly correlated electron systems is considered. Common to these effects are their fluctuation nature and the presence (or occurrence) of inhomogeneous charge and/or spin densities. The following problems are discussed: the nature of 3d-metal ferromagnetism; the reasons for metal-like conductivity of the heavy p-metal oxides; the nature of the pseudogap state in high Tc superconductors.
