Photoconductivity oscillations for a Rashba two-dimensional system in variable magnetic field

Abstract

The response of a two-dimensional electron system to a DC measurement electric field has been investigated in the case where the system is disturbed from the equilibrium by magnetic microwave field that leads to combined transitions involving the spin—orbit interaction. It is shown that the electron system perturbation gives rise to new oscillations of the diagonal components of the conductivity tensor controlled by the ratio of between radiation and cyclotron frequencies.
