Oscillations in the ESR spectrum of the multi-ferroic/ferroelectric interfaces for GdMnO3/SrTiO3 and YbMnO3/SrTiO3

The thin films (~ 100 nm) of GdMnO3 and YbMnO3 manganites deposited onto ferroelectric material SrTiO3 (GdMnO3/SrTiO3 and YbMnO3/SrTiO3) were investigated by using the electron spin resonance (ESR) method. The most interesting results were observed at temperatures ranges 40–100 K and 40–120 K for GdMnO3/SrTiO3 and YbMnO3/SrTiO3, respectively. In these temperature ranges the ESR spectra displayed absorption power oscillations apart from the exchange-narrowed line from bulk GdMnO3 or YbMnO3. The oscillation intensity depends on temperature and external magnetic field.
