The high-frequency resonances and weakly damping collective modes in strongly anisotropic conductors of Q1D type

Abstract

We show that weakly damped electromagnetic waves polarized perpendicular to the direction of the highest conductivity can propagate in strongly anisotropic organic conductors of Q1D type placed in a magnetic field. The numerical analysis of the dispersion equations is presented and the simple analytical expressions for the collective modes spectrum in a number of limiting cases are obtained.
